I have a gazillion of things that I could share with you.
Recipes are piled up in front of my computer.
Projects are getting forgotten about as the days pass.
However, it is hard to keep up with a blog if I feel like there is no genuine interest.
And I can only assume that there is no interest because no one EVER (and I really mean NEVER) comments.
You see I am a "words of affirmation" gal. And without the affirmation, there is no will to continue what has become a daunting task.
And believe you me, I have a gazillion things I could be doing at any minute of the day.....straight down to just sitting on the couch and watching Dora the Explorer.
Where I used to blog before washing dishes or folding clothes....I am now choosing those tasks over making time to write or upload photos. Even alphabetizing my canned goods is higher on the list.
So here I am giving you a non-update. Or rather telling you that there will be no more updates unless I feel like I have to share something with you.
Until then, I hope you enjoy the wonderful fall weather!

OK Devon...I have to say this post made me chuckle. I'm not sure if it is because you had the guts to share it or because I can identify with needing some affirmation. I am very behind on the rest of your blog & I love to read it but I seem to be falling behind on EVERYTHING too. So every so often I sit down and I read your blog for an extended period of time & comments at that point would seem so obsolete.
I suscribe to both of your blogs and really look forward to everything you have to say. Now that I know you are a "words of affirmation girl" I will definitely comment more. I was SO impressed with the bed you all made for Lucas, very cool.
If it makes you feel any better, I rarely get any comments either! I continue to blog just to keep a written and photographic record of her childhood...I forget so much when I don't document it!
I love reading your updates and hearing what you guys are up to.
Even though I rarely say anything, I ALWAYS read both of your blogs!! I am always SO impressed by all of the things you've built, and I do appreciate you taking the time to share how and what you've done. I'm definitely inspired, and hope to be able to make similar things... either after I'm done with school, if we're in a bigger place or have a yard, who knows :)
Thank you for taking the time to share about your life. But, only continue blogging if it makes YOU happy. Either to remember, to share, or whatever. I always enjoy what you share, but I never want it to become or to be a burden to you!!
May I make a request though? Can you change the settings of this blog, so the full feed shows up in my google reader (like your other blog)? :) I'm intrigued to hear about some of your other projects! xoxo
